Aine Moorad has a background in publishing, marketing, and communications, with experience in Canada and overseas. She’s worked as a reporter and sub editor in newsrooms in Canada, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan. She’s produced and sold conferences attended by senior-level executives from the government, academia, and the corporate sector. She’s also written and art directed Annual and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reports for several companies.
Currently, she works as a communications specialist at an international NGO, which provides water, education, health care and emergency assistance to underprivileged communities worldwide.
In 2020, Aine self-published the O Canada Series about a boy’s immigration journey to Canada. The series was nominated by a member of the Mississauga Arts Council for the Mississauga Arts Award (literary category) in 2022. Her books have received media attention and are sold on Amazon, Indigo.com, Harvard.com and online at Barnes and Noble.
Aine holds an MA in Creative Writing, a Specialized Honors degree in Marketing, and has attained certificates/post-graduate studies in journalism, technical writing, editing, and PR and Publicity.
Aine has lived in three countries – England, Pakistan and Canada. Currently, she resides in Oakville, Ontario.
She enjoys nature, interior decorating, diving into online courses, and inspiring her two children to soak up the world’s endless wonders.
